Microsoft hopes to make us all feel a bit more organized and equipped for each day ahead, so it’s giving us a free trial of one of its lesser-known productivity tools.

Anyone with a Microsoft account (MSA) can now test a new lightweight version of the Microsoft Lists application for free to see how it would benefit you.

Microsoft Lists is intended for small work and personal usage, and the latest preview version of the application appears to give a simple and plain overview of all your key chores inside one location.

In a blog article introducing the development, Microsoft known for products like Microsoft Teams said, “It’s time to release yourselves from coordinating mess.” “It’s time to cleanse your mind and become organized. In summary, it’s time to start putting the Microsoft Lists – MSA Preview to the test.”

Originally exclusively accessible as a component of a monthly Microsoft 365 subscription, the corporation claims the new preview application is built around the foundation of the old service while also introducing a few additional features like as tabbed views, sharing from inside a Person column, adding photographs inline, and much more.

It considers that Lists may be useful for a wide variety of chores, from business-focused chores like internal event planning, job applications, and staff onboarding to more personal activities like vacation planning or perhaps even recipe collection.

The application enables people to share all of their plans with colleagues, relatives, and acquaintances, and it can be adjusted in a variety of forms to provide users with the precise perspective or strategy they want.

The corporation is giving out 200,000 trial version accounts under a first-come, first-served approach, but you must have a Microsoft account to register. Users can test up to 50 lists with up to 2,000 entries per list during the trial, but there is also a 200MB restriction for file, video, and picture storage per list.

Users who want to utilize Lists with both a company and an individual Microsoft account must move among accounts to access each set of lists.

“We’re looking forward to seeing what kinds of information monitoring awesomeness you make during the trial, and also how you share it all,” the corporation noted.
